You can't see the real America from the window of your car while driving on the crowded Interstate. You have to get off onto the backroads to see what's really happening.

You won't find any small town festivals on the main roads nor any of the delightful characters that frequent colorful diners.

But if you get off those busy roads and slow down for a bit, you’ll notice it throughout the day as you go from store to store, strolling along brick streets, past warmly lit shoppes where friendly store owners still smile and nod as you pass by ...
