Can an old dog learn new tricks and not be afraid to share those tricks!

Have you noticed how limited good resources are now a day's.  Is it because resources are hard to find or is it more that good resources are usually very costly and not always 'You get what you paid for'.  The greed factor is a big part of the problem as we learn as children to share, but as adults we learn not to trust and to 'Get, while the getting's good', 'First come, first serve', 'First one to the finish line wins', and so on.   Self serving attitudes are the wave of the future and an unfortunate part of daily life now.

It's not that people in general are selfish, more that, many of us are struggling to survive and very competitive as well as driven to succeed.  We learn early on not to trust others and quite often we experience people taking advantage or using us in some way.  Also because of the bad economy and the many trials we all face, we have become jaded.

What if there are more people like you that have accomplished great things in their company, but like you have reached a road block or a level of success at one point to only struggle now.  What if we as business people took a journey together and actually lent a helping hand to each other and shared our successes and our failures with one another, like people did back in the day.

A sort of Mentorship if you will.  A way of networking information and resources, such as advertising for one another or sharing strategies, insight, tips and outside resource avenues, etc...

The potential for development, growth and prosperity for all involved could be off the charts!

I do agree as I have worked in mentorship aspects and by your example here I believe we could embrace this informational sharing concept in business to reach new levels of success!
